Position Overview

As a founding Sr. Sales Engineer (SE) at Aircover, you'll be a key player in shaping our growth trajectory. Collaborate directly with our founders, contribute to the strategic vision, and be part of a dynamic team pioneering innovative sales solutions. This early SE role will play a crucial part in shaping the department for future hires as we rapidly expand the team.

The Role

As a Sr. Sales Engineer, you will:

  • —Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams as the ultimate product expert and technical advisor.
  • —Master all aspects of the Aircover platform to effectively explain and demonstrate the technology to diverse users.
  • —Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, ensuring they achieve their desired business outcomes with our technology.
  • —Demonstrate how Aircover’s platform can solve specific prospect/customer needs and help them reach their business goals.
  • —Partner with Sales to perform use case discovery sessions to uncover company pain points and desired outcomes.
  • —Assist prospects and customers with Proof of Concepts and pilots.
  • —Simplify and explain complex business and technical requirements.
  • —Develop content that shows customers how to leverage Aircover for specific use cases.
  • —Provide customer feedback to our Founders, Sales, and Product Marketing to influence our product roadmap and GTM strategies

🏠  Location: SF Bay Area; San Diego; (Remote in US is OK; West Coast preferred).

You

  • —5+ years in a customer-facing sales engineering role (pre-sales) or a combination of sales engineering and other relevant experience.
  • —Ability to expertly demonstrate to executives how Aircover can help achieve their business goals.
  • —Experience with sales technology, cloud architecture, or telephony/web conferencing systems.
  • —Familiarity with data flows, AI/ML concepts, analytics, APIs/webhooks, or JSON.
  • —Understanding of security and privacy as they pertain to SaaS systems.
  • —Thrives in a fast-paced environment, delivering creative and high-quality work.
  • —Are a builder. You have thought about starting a company before and/or can operate effectively in an ever-changing environment
  • —Great people skills: genuine, warm, curious, engaging, and have a passion for learning new things
